What We Do
Echoes of Prince Georges is an initiative that preserves our commintiy’s heritage by transforming local senior oral history into verbatim musical revues.
IMPACT
Echoes of Prince George’s plans to impact the community entirely. We plan give seniors a space to make an impact on their community, and leave behind a legacy that without Echoes of Prince George’s, would be forgotten. We want to bridge together the generations that may seem far apart but are close than we think. For our younger generation know their community better, while simultaneously expressing themselves. Lastly, for our adolescents to know that they are not just the future, they are the now. This is their community full of rich, deep, monumental cultural that they should know about. This world may not be perfect but everyone should still do their best to do their part.
